Guys,

I've counted at least 20 or more Ferrari 599's that have been up for sale for quite a while - and more arriving monthly.

In keeping with history of V12 ferrari's - are the prices on 599's about to "realign"??

I've noticed Maserati's doing the same. Granted, not quite the same league in terms of cost, but they just dont seem to be shifting at the moment.

A sign of the times? Wiat for a few sunny weekends and see if it makes a difference.

Not wishing to upset the current owners or owners to be, but I do hope so.

I quite fancy one of these in a couple of years' time.

You are wrong of course, they will be worth a premium for many Years to come oh and I also predict Daytona prices will fall dramatically smile

In all honesty the cars do not seem to be moving and it would appear demanding a premium is now out of the question especially as you can get a new Car to your spec at list within 8 months or so, on top of the 20 or so cars at the Brokers/ independents there is probably the same number again at Ferrari dealers who are not currently advertising them

Ah well, it's only money. And he must have been one of the first on the block with it (which is the only reason you'd pay a premium).

I'm surprised he didn't pay 50k over!

I mean, Eric and the dealers must desperately need the cash.

I realised yesterday that I no long long for a 599 like I used to.

I guess seeing a 70yr old + geezer driving one through Didsbury kind of killed the image for me.

Pity as the car looked good but the image is shot to hell.

Mr C certainly gets through some cars - hear he had the first TWO 997GT2's and a couple of Cayenne Turbo's delivered the other week!

Maybe he doesn't know that when they stop they can be refuelled, and are not just 'used up'!?
