North Weald airfield days

I'm off to an airfield day at North Weald on Sunday 13th April. Format seems to be up to 20 cars and a variety of things to do.

Just wondered if anyone else here is going, and if anyone has been before and could offer some guidance

I've done a couple, great fun, tho the morning fast turn bit can get a bit tedious with the waiting, after that its great use all the courses they open & pick & mix between them as you wish.

If you have the choice of tyres use some old ones on it will shag tyres v quickly, really good place to really push hard & see just what happens when you do in a very safe environment.

The fast turn bit was amazing (with one finger on the steering wheel !!) and it saved my bacon when a couple of months later my servo failed whilst braking for Quarry at Combe
