Evolution IX....... What is it???

Looking for a bit of help/advice with this. As some of you may well know from the other forums, I'm a dealer selling primarily German marques! Just had a customer drop by with a 2006 Evolution IX!! My problem is, nobody seems to know exactly what model it is! Is there any visual way of identifing the car?? It's a late 2006 registered, imported Evo IX finished in electric blue with black 1/2 leather/alcantara Recaro seats. Car has 17" Enkei wheels, Brembo brakes, high level rear spoiler as per FQ 320, 340 etc. (with carbon blade) Front number plate is off set to the passenger side, and rear bootlid badge and badge on the centre console simply states 'Mitsubishi Evolution'

When he bought the car (from a Jap Import Specialist) he was told it was equivalent to a UK supplied FQ-320 but, again, nobody is 100%!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
