Hi everyone,

I have recently started to use my lc8 for the daily trip to work, but the seat is giving my back a really bad time - has anyone else suffered with this and replaced the seat for the (gel)one on the 990?

I have had the bike for a couple of years and really enjoy it for shorter trips and knocking around etc, and will be loathed to have to get rid.

any suggestions appreciated!

Alex

Get an airhawk seat cover. Very very comfy i have one on the GSX-R. In fact i bought it the same day i bought the bike. No more back pain, no more numb arse.

Busa, I switched my seat across to a Touratech seat. It was mainly to lower the height a bit but have found it to be very comfortable (it has seen me through anything upto 600 miles in a day). I do know however that others have had problems with their lower back when using touratech. There is a lot of discussion on them at the AdvRider site here:-

Thanks for the suggestions - had a quick look at the adv rider forum, looks like an airhawk could be the solution.
