To my shame, I'd never heard of him either. Just looked up on Google and youtube, and yes, impressive. didn't know he played with Canned Heat either (oh, the shame for a true blues fan). I will now be looking some more, and possibly spending some money!

Actually got to see him live in Worcester last year in a converted church.

Damn good night out

Up there with George Thorogood for quality and entertainment

Well recommended for those not sure.

Walter Trout is pretty good isn't he... Picked up one of his live CDs ages ago, he's a great technical player.

I don't know if he'd be to everyone's taste, but artist I really rate is Aynsley Lister. He's firmly a blues player, but his early stuff (Everything I Need album) has an almost britpop sound to it - a very refreshing difference to the usual middle aged Americans in blues. Since then he's gone a bit more 'delta blues' I believe. That first album is quite possibly my favourite record of all time.

Walter Trout isn't bad but he's no Rory.

If you haven't seen it, find a copy of his Montreux concerts
