Trailing arm bushes

Just thought it might be worth noting that when I removed the trailing arms last week one of the bushes was shot (I knew which contributed to why I took it off the road).
Anyway as the bolts were seized in the bushes I had to saw the bolts to get the trailing arms off - so the bush ended up with a piece of bolt stuck inside it once I got the trailing arms off.
The shot bush on the drivers side wasn't a problem - the core of the bush came straight out once the trailing arm was off the car.
The other one would be a bit more difficult. Or so I thought. On the offchance today I just used my pulley puller and fitted it to the trailing arm bush - to my amazement as soon as I tightened it up the centre of the bush pushed straight out of the rubber bush - so the inner tube wasn't bonded to the rubber at all. It looked absolutely perfect.
Just shows you can't take anything for granted.
Now I have the joy of fitting two new trailing arm bushes!
