OK, so we all know there is a Ducati handicap system in place. Basically the more they win the more weight handicap they get. So....
It was clear in the first race that Ducati were going to come 3rd&4th. Then last corner crash and they come 1st&2nd. If this were to happen again or maybe just this once may affect the handicaped system.
Whats your thoughts on that?

I'm not convinced the bike needs anymore handicapping, I mean Bayliss was winning races on the 999 which was well outclassed power wise - does no-one think it might just be because he's the best rider out there? and Biaggi's no slouch either.

I agree. They now have a 9 kilo handicap, thats a lot. When you think even in road trim the main manufacturers are trying to trim an odd part kilo here and there to win the showroom sales.

Handicaps donty really work in sport, they certianly dont work in yacht racing and they dont really work in Golf.

Have a set of rules and everyone races off scratch, then you find the best.

is it me or did bayliss pull back andlet lanzi past when checa crashed.ducati are holding back while baylis can win the championship with just podiums rather then win and get penalties.its back to the bad old days of the ducati cup.yes the comentry was crap do you think its because of the lack of english riders so they have ausies for english speaking countries rather than englishmen for england

Not sure we never saw the pass, I thought at first he had slowed for the yellows and Lanzi had passed under them. Naughty if he did but the pass must have been before the final corner, perhaps Bayliss had finally gone too wide at the fast chicane before the long curve to the final corner and Lanzi just passed him over the hill.

Jamie Whitham was at Brands, so presumably that partnership are being used for BSB, at least where there are clashes.
