Track days this year
Discussion
I may be keeping the Monaro for a bit longer than I thought I would be - basically it was being sold for business purposes but circs have changed and the business is doing a lot better than we anticipated...
So for now at least I'll hang on to it.
Anyhoo, as spring summer approaches, thoughts turn to trackdays.
Bedford is great fun, very safe and loads of run off if a little uninteresting and Brands is huge fun if expensive.
Not done any more in cars (done lots on bikes over the years)
Just wondering who might be interested in a group dsy out at somewhere like Bedford sometime in early Summer - say early Juneish?

How very interesting that neither of those two sites (as far as I can see) don't even mention noise restrictions.
So as a seasoned track day fanatic always check first and get it in writing to the number of dba allowed per circuit, once they have your money, and you go through the noise check, there is no getting your money back if you fail.
At my last outing there were several cars that got turned away (money lost) in fact one car was so quiet in testing, but on the track it failed the drive through meter, turned out it was intake roar!
So for us with Monaro's try and book nothing less than 105 dba days.
Hope this helps as track days are really good fun.

Yes your right I always knew I needed glasses Doh! and most of their days are 105's that is very sensible limit.
My God there are so many track day opperators at the moment, mind you the good thing about that is the price is more affordable now. Not as though I can see myself using the ro on track, apart from a trip maybe this year to the ring.

It's 105db for both events
The main site I used to find which trackday to do was www.racedays.co.uk/ I'm doing both because of expensive boat trip, £351
coming from Guernsey

coming from GuernseyI love Snetterton, my fave bike trackday circuit (this is me btw)

but in a Monaro I think the brakes would be destroyed, even APs.
