Its not great, but its the best pic I could manage (with poor camera, and limited viewpoints) of the Alpe D'Huez Hairpins.

I cycled up that. It was hard work but worth it for the trip down!

May do this at the start of May in the morning then down the Route Napolean in the afternoon . .. So many roads, so tempting, so many miles, so little time wink

The road up to alpe is a cracker, My sister has a place up there so I've been up there quite a few times, very smooth, wide and good view into the corners so fun can be had! All the locals seem to think a sub nine mins run up it is good going an a swift car.

P.s well worth stopping for a bitein the "o" bar just as you get to the top of the road, Run by an english girl and her italian fella, the food it top notch!
