Hi Declan,

Sorry to hear your news. Toby mentioned earlier that you two are both ok, which is what matters.

A quick google found this chassis which had no bids, but might be rebuildable with a bit off effort - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TVR-GRIFFITH-%2F-CHIMAERA-CH... I'd suggest contacting the seller and seeing what would need to be done to get you a useable chassis.

Steve.

Hold on there young fella.

The car found it's way today to RG and already it's a write of.

Unless it's now a pile of junk.

Must be the quickest insurance company in the world with a bunch of accessors queuing up to come up with that.

Somehow I don't think so...BTW Who's telling you this.

Declan, went to this place a few years ago and they had a couple of TVR Chimaeras lying around. Obviously I can't guarantee 1) they're any good, or, 2) they've still got them. But, it's got to be worth a phone call. Good luck.

Sorry to hear the preacher lost it in the snow.. guess he has not been praying enough..

God moves in mysterious ways but the preacher does it sideways..

Sorry for the pun smile

Ask RG to contact Multipart - some say that they can now supply new chassis for a reasonable price.

Hope you both get it sorted soon.

2/3 of a month is only 20 days.. hehe must be slow workers - even I could make up a new chassis in less time than that..

Still at least they will be able to supply new - that is a good thing long term for us owners.

Best put a quote in then ..Most likely it will also need some body work embarrassments as well.
You could help there

20 days doesn't matter, quality and price is what matters here. Any thing measured in days is a short time for insurance.

Douglas Valley Breakers in Standish, Wigan usually have some Chimeras.
Might not have a bare chassis though.

Sadly - they are usually in the breakers yard for exactly the same reason the preacher has..

You are unlikely to get one from a breakers as they are not usually aloud to sell the chassis even if it is perfect .
