Don't use the Act Carbon Plenum. Seen it on a dyno and it's not as good as the standard one.

I don#t think that would hold true in all circumstances. There may be intake bottlenecks in various places, but the throttle opening to the plenum is one, and the CF plenum does a good job replacing that restrictive bend - the replacement pipe which everyone quotes as a good gain on its own.

Apart from that I've got one, so stop trying to knock the value down hehe

Daz the plumber.

Talk to RPI, they modified the inlet side of my Chimp 400 and I am very pleased with the result.

On this topic I know SC Power are selling them - see here:

Don't know how the price compares though.

When I replaced my passenger headlight, it looked like the filter to AFM section on mine was dying. Where else should I look for these products?

perhaps you want to try making one yourself and see what it will cost you, to start with you`ll be looking at a billet of aluminium around 30mm thick, then you really want it cnc milled, water jet cutting will not give you the holes in the plate that the milling process will, then you need to have to top and bottom faces machined flat, the water jet won`t do that eitherhehe
then give it a nice anodised coating to make it look pretty.

try getting a few quotes, most engineering firms will charge you £40 an hr for cnc milling, and I don`t mean fred down the road who`s got a mill in his shed!

sorry to rant on, but people quite happily pay £50 plus an hr to have their car serviced, but moan to much when they want to buy something that has been researched, designed and manufactured.

just my 2p worth.

Forgot the VAT... it gets worse 125=vat = 146.88 + 5 delivery = £151.88
