I wonder what else the hole could be used for.
With fewer smokers there should be an alternative use fitment.
My ashtray is a coin holder for toll tunnels, but the coins can get stuck down the bottom. I have often wished for a purpose made coin holder instead of the ashtray.
What would you replace it with?
Perhaps if there are enough people wanting the same thing, a few could be made.

Not me! but the horrible plastic ones are letting down my new Alcantara doors! I'd put something else in the hole if I could. (ooh err).
I'd have filled the holes and then had the trimming done.What about spraying them with this stuff looks pretty good. Link

The Level ones were just ally covers that stuck onto the standard parts. Sometimes. They aren't a great fit, and the glue melts and they fall off. If I ever get the time I'll be ripping them out and retrimmimg. It'd be great if a component midrange speaker could be fitted there instead.
