How do you stop lightroom auto-starting up?

When does it start up? And what version of Windows?

In your taskbar next to your clock there will be a little camera icon for Adobe photo downloader, right click on it and select disable.

click on Start, All Programs, Startup and look for Lightroom, if it's there right click and delete.

Its XP and it starts up whenever i plug a USB memory stick, memory card etc into the computer.

Yep, ours does that too - I suspect it's the auto-download thing mentioned earlier. I'll try that tonight (or will ask Pod to ).
