I know there are a few PH'ers that are involved with renting out supercars and the like. Just wondered if any of you would be interested in a direct marketing campaign in my area.

Basically what I'd like to do is run a competition to go out in the local papers, and those that enter online (Crossword, spot the ball, wordsearch or somesuch) with the correct entrants being entered into a draw.

The aim is for the entrant to opt in to future contact (marketing stuff from my cab company and the partnered supplier of the prize if you wanted) and to gain as much local publicity as possible, get in all the papers a couple of times, maybe even the radio or local news spot on TV. Meridian Tonight loves this sort of stuff for example.

Anyone fancy something like this? It doesn't have to be supercars - it could be holidays, watches, food, jewellery, helicopter rides whatever... Creative hats on please chaps biggrin

There is a local cab company in Warrington who used Kerry Katona a few times for this type of thing.

Maybe this is an option?

That said, they have gone down the stter - twice I think... smile

Are Supercar companies going to be targetting the demographic that actually read the local free papers and spend their time doing online crosswords? Not trying to rubbish the idea, but I can't see it working personally.

Who said anything about free papers?

I'm not saying it has to be supercars - maybe a Z4 for a weekend or something? Or anything... Like I said, Holidays and what-not. Just thought I'd offer it up to PH before I write out to local companies smile
