I tried a bit drag racing last November with my S. There was a couple of Chims, a Griff and another S but no wedges or classics though!

So if anyone fancies a bit of straight line noise-making, please see a post I just put in the S forum outlining what it's all about. It's very simple to take part.

Thanks - please remove my hands with bolt cutters if you find me pressed lovingly against your SEAC. wink

Sounds like a good laugh but a bit of a way for a thrash me thinks!!

I took mine on the strip after the BBWF (the ONLY wedge i might add!) and seem to remember getting in the region of 14.5 quarter mile time. Ill have to dig the specs out!

Hope someone from the fold can make it!!!

I remember us all cheering you on clap you brave man.

There is so much skill involved in getting cleanly off the line, that it's easy to lose out to a 'slower' car with a more experienced driver, not to mention the mechanical stresses on your P & J.
