TVR Griffith noise

Hi

I have the opportunity to do a track day at Goodwood in our standard Griffith 500 with standard exhaust.

Can anybody amongst the more experienced track day goer's tell me if the car is likely to exceed the 105db noise limit.

I apologise if this question has been asked a million times before, any info gratefully received.

When I was there with a standard 500 a couple of years ago on a 105 db day, mine measured 99 db, I didn't need the ACT silencers I bought along to pass.

It'll be fine.

Std Griff 500 is around 97-98db if your exhaust is in good condition it could be as low as 95.

A mate's 4.3 used to test regularly at 102 or 103, and needed cans on the back to get under 100, but the per-cat ones are noisier ().
