any idea how to find it on a 156.also what would it look like,is it numbers or letters

When you open the boot the paint sticker can be found on the boot lid on the drivers side.

I found that sticker after about 15mins on the phone to a dealer who had me looking up the chassis number, registration, exact spec., etc.! I got bored so was clearing out the boot and noticed it right in front of my eyes!
