Stone chip on wing- Respray or Chips Away
Discussion
I have just bought an 18 month old Maserati Gransport, which has a stone chip on the rear wing. What's the best course of action- panel respray or Chips Away type repair?
I plan on having the car professionally detailed afterwards so wondered whether that would improve upon the look of a Chips Away type repair? Concern about a panel respray is based on colour matching etc....
The Car is a light metallic silver if that makes a difference

There are a few different techniques that can be used to repair chips without resorting to a panel respray - however on silver paintwork, none of them will produce an invisible repair. A properly matched, sensitively-blended respray repair will result in the best finish - but the price of that kind of work may seem disproportionate to a single chip...
The best course of action varies significantly with the size, depth and location of the chip - if you can post a few pics and a fuller description, the advice that can be offered will be more helpful...
