...and I'm quite looking forward to it!

Have been out with one before but never driven one (or even been in one) so intrigued as to what to expect!?

Will report back tomorrow I'm sure, with a few pictures of the bright orange beast as well smile

That is all

Loved it. So much so I'm going to write a bit of an article about it and post it up later....sorry for the bad picture, light was fading fast and so this is the only daylight(ish) one I got. Complete avec bottom.

Glad you liked it... bit too hardcore for some, but SO responsive... it's like an Elise with all the sensory-feedback stuff turned up to a million. Just htinking about mine makes my hair stand on end.... shame I won't be driving it for another 6 months frown

My first Exige drive was in an orange one, too biggrin

Asked the instructor if it was tuned to 177 or 190 and he said "more like 160" so I wonder if they detuned it for longevity. Was still good fun, although you had to keep the engine spinning a lot more than a VVC.

VHPD without Emerald & Verniers is pretty crap, to be brutally honest. I did 38K with mine, before installing a Honda engine/gearbox.

Like all Elises/Exiges, decent brakes/suspension/geo will make a world of diffence to driving on both road & track too.

Ah, I see you were at Leeds Castle. I'm only in Tenterden, (20 minutes away) if you ever fancy a ride in my SC Honda S1 Exige. Should be getting it back in a week after a re-spray.

eek

Love it!! I'm in Rainham (Medway Towns) and Mike's up in London somewhere, but we go for drives now and then (especially through summer) from around leeds castle down to Rye etc - will be sure to give you a shout.

Tis winter here and my baby's coming apart for a refresh. Engine's making some concerning noises so she's going to get some exploratory heart surgery too and perhaps some TLC in the engine department. Prognosis is pretty good though, just suspect a naffed camshaft bearing or a cracked lifter... fingers crossed smile
