Le Classic 2008: tickets distribution

Just a note to say that ACO has advised me today that my tickets which were due to be mailed this month will be delayed to May/June because ACO has had a problem with the paper supply ahead of printing. I guess this may well apply to other Le Classic goers too. R.

Thanks for the posting.
I ordered my tickets on 1st Jan this year on the lemans.org site.
My credit card was charged straight away and I was expecting my tickets this month.
However I've not recieved any notification that they might be delayed.
How did they they tell you?

When I ordered on line, in December I think, ACO's system made a complete balls up of my address...I was recorded as living in Afghanistan !! So, I needed to call them and sort things out having done so I got an e-mail from them telling me the records have been changed and confirming all was OK. During the conversation I asked when to expect the tickets and was told April. A few days ago I e-mailed ACO and got the news about the delay, hence my earlier post.

I have to say I am still a bit worried: I went through the payment process when I ordered (ACO got the right information thank goodness) and I got a ticket confirmation number and confirmation that my payment would be taken, but it has not yet. When I e-mailed ACO recently about the tickets not arriving I quoted my confirmation number etc and they said all was well. We'll see.
