Hi,

Just a question, I was clearing the POD data for the first time since I had the car from new.
Previously I thought 9420 RPM was just a theoretical max rpm from the sensors. I know for sure I didn't revved that high !!!!

Conclusions? Error?

When I got my P&J from the dealers, max speed said 205 MPH and 8,000 RPM! yikes

It's weird though, coz since I've had it, it's been pretty accurate and hasn't gone haywire. Talking of which, how accurate are the speedos in a Tuscan? It appears to be about 5-8 mph out according to my TomTom... confused

my tamora under reads by about 1mph @ 70mph. spot on to gps reading at below 50mph.

the max/ min readings stored in the computer seem to be randomly generated too.

Was suprised yersterday when I reved her to 7000 rpm's, pulled more then I expected between 6500 and 7000, normaly I change at 6500. Didn't thought there was still that much power left in these high "rebuild" regions.

From the figures ive seen peak power isnt produced till 7000 / 7200 rpm ish so i would expect decent power well beyond 6500.

You certainly can't believe what the Tamora computer says about maximum speed/revs when you're flicking through the display options. As Keith says, 240mph is not unusual, nor are very high revs. So if there is a similar system on the Tuscan, that's probably your answer. 'They all do that, sir'!
