Is it just me or are the cookies being a bit tight when it comes to "last visit" time? You only have to turn your back and it updates. Wouldn't it be better to only have them expire when you leave the site?

The settings haven't changed for at least a year. I think it's set to ten minutes of inactivity currently.

Would it be possible to put them up to about twenty minutes? It only takes a phone call or similar to distract you and you can miss a load of topics.

There is a 'three hour' option next to the What's New link. That'd do the trick for you.

I use that when the cookies expire, but they definitely seem keener of late. Perhaps they're just working as designed now biggrin

Ten minutes just feels a little quick. It's not the end of the world but as I use "What's New" as my primary navigation I probably notice it more that some.
