6 days till the new (to me) estates ready

Finaly purchased the new family car needed a 7 seater but didnt fancy another 4x4 ML. Gone for a mercedes 211 e class estate with all the options. Its got to be the quickest 7 seater ive ever been in and cant wait to see the dog pushed up to the back window.
Any body fancy a realy realy cheap 2001 138,000 mile ml270 cdi ? just had £1.3k spent on it.

its the V8 E55 AMG, 2004 year. Took me quite a while to find one as I wanted a low milage car and 7 seats, key less go and the normal toys. Its only done 23k miles and is in briliant silver with black leather.
Just got to change the badges for E200 badges...... been a good car week should have the ferrari on the road for the end of the month, the brakes are rebuilt , just got to service the engine and do the cam belts.

rang mercedes on friday to make sure the car was still coming in on monday and got told he would chase it up and let me no on saturday. I called them to be told they hadnt called to find out. I asked them why not and got the normal crap. I told the sales man that unless i get a delivery date on monday by 9.30 he can refund my deposit and stuff the car up his *rse.
Mercedes Main dealers the diggest load of *ankers I have ever come across, I am only after all the customer whos spending 30k with them. This will be my 5th merc and any more messing from them my 4th will be the last.

Ah the world of the modern Mercedes Dealer!
It's something I can sympathise with. Wait until you start to use the service department!
ETA: the "Evo 2" you mention wouldn't happen to be that lovely rare beat made by Mercedes in 1990, would it?

Is this very unusual to buy the car before it's come in to the dealer - did you test drive it etc? Not sure I'd be happy committing buy a car that someone was still driving around in.So i now wont get it untill around the 23 rd of april

It arrived yesterday... I`m loveing it and should soon be on first name terms with every petrol station in a 100 mile radius. Saying its a bit thirsty would be a like saying George Best likes the odd drink.
Its not too bad on fuel considering its 5.4 ltrs and supercharged and have been doing the school run in it... 14 miles of town driving.
