It does look like RCR's Gt 40 replica chassis.

That quite appeals - it's a bit different and you'll never own an original. Looks very nicely engineered.

I've been obsessed with these for years and contemplated buying a Proteous some years back but decided it was beyond my capabilities and probably budget. The proteous was also alloy bodied

I've seen more photos of the sportscar factory car and it look rather nice. The chassis is their own, totally bespoke as are a good number of the parts. It all seems pretty good value for what will be a very rare car.

wife wants me to build her one of these when I finish my various projects. I'm not exactly adverse to the idea I must admit but they really aren't cheap!
