oil leak

I've got an oil leak but don't know where it's coming from. I can't seem to see it from the top of the engine so jacked the car up and looked through the triangular hole in the floor. I can sort of see the oil and took some photos as i'm not sure which bit is leaking. Any help would be appreciated.

Difficult one but from the picture looks like the turbo drain O ring is seeping a bit and the intake hose has some oil in it and its leaking out, if so the engine breather is blowing i bit of mist into the intake, you could pull the springy hose of carefully and take a look.

Is it definitely oil?
My rear turbo was leaking but it turned out to be the hardened coolant hose seeping. I rubbed off some rusty deposits from around the leaking area during the initial inspection so it even looked like oil on my finger.

Yours does look a little worse than mine though.

it's definately oil. trying to get a look from the top it looks like it's coming from a seal in a metal pipe that runs diagonally near side to off side between the front turbo and the engine.
I've got a warranty on the car from christopher neil until the end of the month, would this sort of thing be covered?

Pull back the heat sheathing and check the turbo oil drain hose to see if it's leaking. If it's a silicone hose, most silicone hoses aren't rated for oil usage, and will start to deteriorate if you run oil through them. If you see droplets of oil "sweating" through the hose, then this is happening. If it's a rubber hose, then check for cracks, burns, hard spots, etc.

If it looks like the oil feed line on top of the turbo is leaking, check the line for signs of heat damage. Also, check the fitting to make sure it's tight.

If it's heat damage then a new hose will probably be needed - will have gone brittle. As mentioned, might just need a tighten up.

Assuming I'm a bit late, but did you sort this one out on yours?

I found a leak on Saturday around the rear turbo that looked almost exactly the same as your picture - turned out the clamp on the oil hose hidden under the air intake hose had worked loose. Tightened it up and the nasty smell of burning something-or-other has gone, as has the leak.

recently noticed my front turbo return hose had split near the jubilee clip. just replaced all turbo hoses.

braided hoses for the return with professional clamps and heat sheath.

new braided lines for the supplies again with heat sheath. didnt cost a lot and all parts available from a decent motorsport supplier.

hardest thing was find out which thread fitting on the suppply hoses is used.

I know this might sound daft, but is there any way that a leaky oil hose could cause increased fuel consumption. To me it doesn't sound likely, but the rate of consumption had gone through the roof in recent weeks. Fixed the leak on Saturday and I'm sure I'm suddenly getting noticeably better fuel consumption.

Or is it just a psychological thing?

Yes, it was a split pipe. If I had more time I'd have got all new pipes.
