This is just a few pics of the place as it is at the moment.
The grass needs to take hold and the BBQ facilities are not done yet, but all in good time.

Hi.....

It's a classic car restoration business near to Steeple Aston in Oxon.
There are no other buildings about (other than the hotel and garage) for miles so it's pretty scenic. There are nice roads in the area for a cruise, two car wash/vacuum facilities, upmarket hotel across the road, service station with shop,
new hard standing with adjacent grassed area (still new grass)
and easy access from most directions (about three miles from J10 M40).
I am going to see what the response is before I completely commit to arranging more BBQ/Picnic facilities as the interest so far does not warrant this expenditure, and I'm doing this out of my own shallow pocket. So I will offer this as a venue for this summer but depending on how it goes.....maybe not next.

Steeple Aston is a nice area, and as you say, not far from the M40. Keep us posted!!

I hope im not breaching any rules by posting this as its not intended as spamming but there are quite a few members on another car-related forum that are interested in meets in the oxford area that might help bump up numbers and could add some diversity

Ok....so this is now for the Sunday 4 May from about midday. I will have a small fire going so there will be a few sausages leaping into rolls for a while. If anyone wants I can draw up a route for a really nice hours drive through the countryside on some very good roads if anyone wants to go for a blast.
My place is only a mile away so any E30 owners who might need to pick the bones of the three scrappers may do so before they get binned (eventually!).

So there it is......Call me on 01869 349979 if you need directions. The address is Hopcroft Holt Hotel......though the venue is directly opposite on postcode OX25 5QQ.

Lets hope the weather holds!

Thanks Graham, glad you enjoyed it mate. Let me know if you are happy with BBQ for the next one and I'll do a proper one though I might ask the guys to chip in to cover the cost.
