Thanks for the feedback on the other thread

The early morning start option was the most popular, so i'll happily run with that. Brief details of the Hoon as follows:

Start Time: 0545 for an 0600 sharp departure.

Start Location: Not disclosed on this thread. Will be close i.e. within a few miles of either Junction 3 or 4 of the M25.

Route Outline: Heading south through Kent and East Sussex on a mix of twisty A, B and a few unclassified roads to eventually emerge at a scenic viewpoint on the South Downs. Fine spot for photo opportunities. Circuitous route back to the finish.

Route length: Approx 100 miles.

Finish Location: Back in NW Kent for some much needed brekkie.

Route sheets and Google map overlay printouts will be available at the start (courtesy of my firm's toner cartridges ) Can also e-mail these out prior to the event. Will post once the final routesheet is completed in a few weeks.

Trust me, neiljohnson needs to avoid any extra weight in that Focus RS of his. The route been revised; it now contains a handful of repeated high speed downhill braking zones.

Yes, however, it's still sitting in my replacement gearbox, up in Durham...

Damn it, i just got my roster and i'm on nights (18:00 - 06:00) that weekend.

However we always come in half an hour early so the other crew won't get a late job when they're at station.

So the day crew should be in by 05:30 and i'll just change and leave from station (Rayleigh) then, and last time it took me just around 30 minutes to get to the starting point, so hopefully will be there by 06:15....
