If I was hypothetically to be in the market for a new car, with £15-20k to spend, would I be asking for trouble if I swapped my Griff for a Tuscan?

Friend of mine went from a 450 Chim to a 2001 Tuscan S (albeit at the top of your budget) and loved it - best move he ever made in terms of a performance jump.

Easy...even a dimwit like me can do it...here's how.

Upload your pics from your pc to a free storage site ( I use imageshack US ).

Select the pic you want ('view pic'), and copy the 'direct' url, which on imageshack is shown below the picture.

Paste that on here, inbetween [pic] [/pic].

Job done.smile

Here's an example:

I'm not really interested in a S6 vs V8 debate, more about the cars. I love both the Tuscan and Griff shape, but as cars I was wondering how they compared. Throw more money at improving the Griff? Move to different car??

Griff + £5k would easily get you a Tuscan. More power, less weight (as you can leave the medallions behind hehe). Somewhat scary handling on the early ones, so you'd want to get the geo sorted. And keep some money aside in case the Speed6 does bite you.

But IMO the difference between a '98 Chimp and an '05 T350 was incredible. No regrets, even though I now have a roof.

I like the shape of the Tuscan but really can't face the 'Dan Dare' interior with odd lumps stuck on all over the place.
