Double puncture and no locking wheel nut key!

Hi guys,

I just got back from a nice drive this morning only to see a huge nail sticking out of my rear nearside tyre.

I took the car to Kwik-fit in the hope of a quick repair to find another nail sticking out of the other rear tyre!

This would have been OK but then they asked for the key for the locking wheel nut. I've had the car for over a year and a half and have never had this key. I have had a service in the last 6 months and the question was never asked then. Is this because Lotus have the key for the locking wheel nuts?

Either way, Kwik fit say they cannot help without it, and I can't find the code to re-order another key.

Other than having the locking wheel nuts drilled off, is there an easier solution?

It's in the front service compartment, on the drivers side, inside the locking wheel nut case remover. Have you checked there?
