Bonnet adjustment
Discussion
My car the windscreen end of the bonnet is sloppy enough to move 2-3 inches left or right. The velcro in the centre is what stops it moving left or right while on the move. So I would take a close look at that and maybe replace.
Front of the bonnet on two screwthreads, which can be adjusted but probably better to leave alone if no chaffing that end.

Mine was doing this until it was pointed out to me at a recent service that the bonnet was only connected by one hinge, the other had effectively broken off - needed some fibre glass work - not expensive though..... glad they spotted it before the bonnet flew off whilst making progress!
This did make me laugh... when I read the reply "perhaps the velcro that hold the bonnet in place has come off" I assumed it was someone taking the piss.
Open the bonnet and lo and behold the velcro had come off. Now if only I can convince my wife to stop laughing at the fact a £40k car has velcro to hold it steady.....
