Speedwell GT40

Thought I'd ask here in the kit car section. Just been to the Detling kit car show, and was very taken by the GT40 kit produced as a turnkey build by speedwell replica cars in kent.
Spent some time looking around the car and was impressed by the all aluminium chassis and general attention to detail on the kit that I find missing on most kits.
I currently own a ram Cobre, but this is the first kit I've seen that would tempt me away from it.
Does anyone know this company or this kit for recommendations etc.
The chap said they import the kit from america in crate form for their build. Does anyone know what the american firm is so I can do a little more research on the kit, or for that matter what the generally accepted best GT40 kit is to compare with?
I feel like a newbie on this. Know everything I need to on cobras, but on this I feel out of my depth.
