hi there chaps. m after picking some brains..
I purchased a raceproved clutch unit and raceproved slave cylinder for my P reg 97 4.2 TVR cerbera, spent the day watching my friend strip the old clutch to find out that the slave cylinder doesnt fit into the bell housing as the old one did. it goes into position fine but the original one sat proud on the inside by about 5mm, the new one is about 10mm shorter so doesnt extend out of the inside of the bell housing at all so wouldnt actually reach the new clutch. i'm wondering if maybe the wrong part was sent? any ideas ??
many thanks.

Old cover and bearing height may be diffrent to the new one,or where the arm picks up on the bearing may be different, slave may be smaller bore, too many variables ,try it and see.Tempus smile
