Cut lines on my Lotus!

Hi everyone, just bought an 85 Turbo Esprit HCI and i took out the rear interior quarter window mouldings (the ones with the carpet on them) and found a few red hoses (or orange?) attached to a tri-splitter made of plastic, and not attached to anything else, i found ends of these hoses attached to something in that quarter region, but I don't know what that something is, and I don't know what these hoses are for. Is anyone able to shed a little light on this?

The only thing in this region are vac lines and fuel tank vent/balancer hoses.

They were on the passenger side.
