Hi, i am looking at putting a set of 17inch wheels all round on my 4.5 chimaera, but have read through loads of threads and web sites, and am still not sure of the offsets etc. Was going to put 7inch wide on front and 7"1/2inch on the back, IS this okay?
Also what are the offsets required?

Cheers

Mark

The widths and offsets for the standard wheels are:

Front 7J * 15 ET25
Rear 7.5J * 16 ET33

The stud pattern is 4 * 108

You can have a play with what works on here: www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

I went for 17 * 7.5J with an offset of 35 all round and spaced the rears with a 5mm hubcentric spacer giving an effective offset of 30 and was really pleased with them.

I've put a set of 17" on the front and 18" on the back. Team Dynamic Savage alloys which show a 25mm offset on the website but Demon Tweeks told me they needed a 38mm offset after they talked to Team Dynamics (they make the SP12's so should know).

Anyway they seem fine and I gave them some real stick last weekend.

I put Toyo T1-R's all round. The whole lot including fitting and nuts from Demon Tweeks cost £935.
