Had new front discs and pads fitted but they are making a noise. Can anyone post a picture showing the fitting position at the flat spring steel plates clipped into the caliper. I think mine might be back to front.

Just as I thought, the muppets at the garage have fitted it back-to-front so it is not touching the pads. You pay professionals to do a job then end up re-doing it yourself.

Thanks

What sort of noise were they making out of interest?

Difficult to describe, a kind of light scraping noise like the pads were dragging on the disk. The noise stopped as soon as I put my foot on the brake pedal.
