Both fronts on my CV8 were replaced at the same time, about 7000miles ago and I've had the Monkfish Road Response pac done (so everything is lovely and aligned now)

However, the right front now looks like this:

and the left front looks like this:

(ignore the slight wearing on the inside, that was happening before the RR pac corrected it all)

Any ideas?
The wear is completely even so pressures and whatnot are obviously right.

Incidently I've had the wheels refurbished and have had a lacquered finish on them - I think it looks loads better compared to the std matt finish.

over inflated? usual suspect fro centre wear... that said if teh tracking was out, then reset on the old tyres you can get some pretty strange wear patterns

does look over inflated - I always double check tyre fitted by 3rd party as it seems they don't ever get it right (regardless of marque)

Tracking can cause wierd wear but generally affects both tyres.

Other than that, been chucking it round left hand bends unde braking? ;-)

Just popped out and checked both tyres and they're both within a psi or 2 of each other.

Someone else had this problem and it was a tyre fault, try this link http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Check the shock too.
Bit of rust can really make a difference.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I couldn't help but notice your nice shiney nuts Nige (eek oooerrr missus).
Was thinking of getting some to replace the standard ones and those plastic covers, but have you tried to get any shiny covers to go over the lockers?

They're actually VXR ones and no, I didn't bother with the locking ones.
