Fuel Line size/bore

Well, the car has been sitting since Sept without being driven, then the other day a very strong smell of petrol, looks like the fuel line from fuel tank to the pump is leaking/perished.
Anyone know the bore as I want to get some better quality(and more flexable) hose. But dont want to take the old one off till the new is ready to go on.
Spoke to the factory, he was not sure of the bore.
