just wonderd if anyone could explane or show me the jacking points on the chimaera. the steve heath book doesnt show pictures of this. Im looking at page 192 by the way!.
I want to be able to lift either the front or the rear wheeles at the same time.

also is it true you can damage the wind- screen by jacking the car incorrectly and twisting the chassis?whistle

You can jack on the out riggers where the 3 tubes meet, front behind wheel, rear in front of wheel.

Or for the whole front follow there is a large box section in the centre behind the rad.

The rear is a pain due to the exhaust and the cross sections being tube, I have in the past either used two jacks on the out riggers or single jack at rear with a piece of timber to span both main chassis rails and two smaller timer blocks to pick up on the chassis rails and clear the exhaust.

The other option on the rear is just jackup each side and put block under the wheels.

I agree with your other jack point but have been told by a number of people not to lift on that front brace!

If the windscreen risk is true, where should people avoid jacking in case it damages the screen?
