Anyone had this before or knows why it's happening?

On their AP's?
I had the wheels off for a spot of spring cleaning & found the paint coming off the calipers, only on the front right & rear left ones though
Anyone?

The preparation for the paint may account for the flakey part, but the bottom of it looks like its been 'blown' with sand and worn it off.
By sticky pistons I guess you mean they have got hot? Well there is no sign of heat anywhere, not even a smell.
Never been on a track either (too scared of writing my £37K off)!
The brakes were installed at about 5000 miles and the car's now done 33000 with the same pads.
Strange eh?
