Repeatedly needing to log in

For about a fortnight now, if I want to post anything I have to log in repeatedly, and I mean 10+ times, until it eventually 'catches' and I get through to the postin/replying page.

I've not made any changes to my PC setup. Are you doing something differently? I'm a Firefox user.

Perhaps cookie corrupted or something?

Maybe try deleting all cookies, closing Firefox and loading it up again fresh.

It's a pain in the arse - I have brought it up several times and it's been "looked into" but I've never heard any more.

I think it's a .com/.co.uk issue, try changing what you use, or failing that delete all your PH cookies.

I've looked into it a number of times over the years and haven't nailed it (obviously). It seems to happen around this time of year for a small number of users. I've wondered if it's a date format issue (US/UK) with the cookie expiry date, but having never proved this theory perhaps I'm barking up the wrong tree.
