track day (not experience day) at Thruxton - worth it?
Discussion
Hi
Desperate to get back on track as soon as possible...one of the few days near me in the coming weeks is one of Thruxton's own (circuit organised) track days.
Anyone ever been on one - what are they like?
According to the site they look horribly restrictive - 90dB noise limit*, sessioned, 1 hour's track time total (for £150), and it looks like a mandatory instructor for the duration!
Also - I assume they don't mix experience day traffic with track day bods? (they do on ARDS tests)
Any help appreciated,
thanks

- Mazda RX-8 should pass that no?

That's not bad value if you actually want the instruction but you can get far better VFM without instruction elsewhere. I doubt my lawnmower would pass a 90dB limit.
