hmmmm they shouldnt have gone that quickly!!! ive never had to replace ANY bearings on any of my bikes most of which ive owned for at least 3 years, also ive had the blade since 2001 and still on ALL the original bearings

The bearings were obviously new when i put them in,had to drift them into place gently after cooling them to make it easier.New dust seals were put in too.Must just be a faulty bearing?Other bearing on the other side is fine!
replace both as the addnl load from the knackered one will knock out the good one .bimsb6 said:

replace both as the addnl load from the knackered one will knock out the good one .Make sure the spindle is done up to the correct torque, as overtightening it can stress the bearings too. If they are sealed bearings with a fixed dust seal, you can gently remove the seal and add some extra grease, then refit the dust seal. I've fitted a few like this and its genuinely shocking how little grease they are packed with from new.
