I'm presuming the Cerbera uses a silent relay, unless there's one in the boot, which I've never heard.

My old 96 has a space for a buzzer on the pcb of the dash, but there's no buzzer there. The guy I bought the car off, said it was too loud, so he had it took out. I'd love to know where from, cause I can't see no sign of it, past or present smile

If theres 12 volts at those terminals, or if you can get a switched 12 volts from the wire to your indicators, I've got some small 12V buzzers in stock at work. We used to sell them for the old intruder alarm systems.

If you need one, drop me a line & I'll post you one foc.

If you remove the pod covering the dials and tilt the clock face plate towards you, you will just see marked the words buzzer on the circuit board.

But not sure if simply soldering one in will work, can also add that mine is a 96 with no buzzer fitted, but the board is clearly marked.

Hope this helps

biggrin

I know what you mean smile

On a sunny day, when the sun comes through the window, I've found it's difficult to see that green light blinking.

Must get mine fitted one day smile

In mine, 99 vintage, you can adjust the volume of the beep with a small clock/anti clock adjustment with an electrical screwdriver in the slot on the 'buzzer'.

Mine is a 96 also, when I had the dash pod apart to swap the bulbs for LEDs I put a meter on the PCB tracks marked buzzer with the indicators on but didn't register anything, might be down to my ineptitude with a multimeter though but worth a try!

Early car here too, had a look at the PCB too not long after getting the car and the same empty buzzer slot.
I'd love to know if anyone has put a buzzer in and if it worked. Failing that if someone could read a part number off their later version I'll get the soldering iron out and try one as it gets a bit embarrassing having your indicator left on for miles boxedin. Same area of the PCB, I don't think my shift light comes on is this also common on early cars and is it linked to the buzzer too confused

mine is a later model and the shift light is linked to the buzzer, that said it is the buzzer that i hear, tend not to notice the light as i am usualy focused 100 miles in front!biggrin

I've been tempted to turn mine off/down, as the buzzer seems to be getting a bit old. Instead of a nice crisp beeping sound, it sounds like a novelty christmas card that's running out of batteries. It's the tiniest thing, but it does irk me slightly...
