dont wanna go through insurance as i have just about got 2 year no claims!
where can i get second had front Clam and Door! Gutt'd and what should i expect to pay for paint
better paying for a second had one that getting fix'd?
any advice would be excellent! I know this will be costly,
i have already gone to an approved place for quotes and al let u know how much they say?

Sorry to hear that mate - I feel for you, as I'm going through similar at the moment, although I have decided to have the front clam repaired with my hard earned cash ... Do you have any pictures so we have an idea on the extent of the damage? If you decide not to repair then as others had said, look for second hand clams on SELOC, specialised scrappers and eBay. You might be lucky enough to find one in the right colour too ... Otherwise a full clam respray would be approximately £500-600ish

Bummer - but just one point to be sure of - you have taken the car to a fibreglass expert, haven't you? It is quite amazing what a top worker can do with broken fibreglass, meaning you may get away with repair and respray to the actual areas.
If you have boat shops in your area, even surfer shops/jet-ski shops, go there too - they are used to nasty scrapes and smashes, and can be very reasonably priced, not least in comparison to car bodyshops, which tend to run a cartel on prices!
It won't be cheap as such, but worth a try and ( hopefully ) being able to hand over the car and pick it up a few weeks later is much, much less hassle than sourcing clams, quotes for clams, repair etc.
You've got to be certain this option is not available!
