Greens did it when I bought the car from new.

I think they use a local bodyshop so I guess matching the colour is ok.

This is an 04 CV8 with nostrils, but it is a VZ so standard.

Did you actually mean a V2 CV8?

Be interesting to compare the build dates to the "year" according to English registration. Mine is an early VZ, built late 04 but not sold or licenced till 05. Here I'm not allowed to call it an 05 though, it is an 04. Unlike in the US where I'm sure they will already be selling "09 models"

Mine was built March 2004, registered in the UK May 2004
- it was one of the first apparently.
Yours came with the nostril bonnet as standard ??

Yes all VZ models did. The VZ was made from Sept 04 until they stopped building Monaros sometime in 05.

Nope, that's an 05 CV8 over here, nostrils and small boot amongst other changes. Just to confuse the issue in the UK, I have an 04 CV8 that's registered May 05!!!

Yes but that's my point, Holden don't make end of year model changes, they happen whenever. Change to VZ happened Sept04, so you can (as I do) have an 04 with nostrils and small boot.

Yes indeed, if you live in the country of origin!! By the time the updated model hit these shores, it was 05..

Not an uncommon practice though, I took delivery of a new model year MINI in October...
