EFI fault

hi all i have a tuscan speed 6 and the word EFI fault has come up on the dash can anybody tell me what this is

basically the EFI fault can be due to basic water ingress or worse issues

Is this some kind of O C D, on EFI faults? or is it a disease thats attacking TVRS at the mo,

God the dreaded EFI, mine is still on and blooming annoying, has yours gone now? or still up mine has been for 4 days and still there.

Hey Painter,

Has your EFI Fault cleared itself?? if so how long before it went did you do anything etc?

bloody EFI...

Had my first experience of it last week.

Car was covered overnight but I do remember taking it down to the local Polaks for a car wash the day before.

EFI fault displayed and it was struggling to start. So went inside for a cuppa tea then tried again, got it going although sounded like it was running on 4 cylinders. Once warmed up seemed to dry out and sounded normal.

Hoping to not see that fault for a while!

did your Fault warning sign and buzzing noise go! aswell

Yes John, warning sign went although buzzing noise is there on occasion.

Main trouble now seems to be the car ticks over between 700 and 900 rpm on initial start since the EFI problem so I tend to touch my foot on the pedal on initial startup and find there is a slight fluctuation when warm between 900 - 1000 rpm.

Its due for a service soonish though so that will hopefully sort it out!
