Sunday 20th April

Judging by the interest in last weekends efforts by Capt Grinnders I'm not sure if there are even any BoLOCs left on here!!

But never the less fo rthe first time in what seems like forever I'm not working on sunday so thought it might be a good opportunity to catch up with a few folks.smile

Pier point, tennish.

Hi fellas.... prob not going to be in Bournemouth this weekend, but will head down if things change.

Good luck with your flat Justin... if I had a £1 for each of the offers I've had on my house that fell apart recently, breakfast at Pierpoint would be pretty much taken care of!

I'd be interested if there was a bit more of a drive involved, Grinners over to you....

Ding! We`ll lower the tone in the Honda, but it would be good to catch up. We`ll keep our eyes on the thread.

Wasn't there talk of a meet on Sunday near Winchester, or am I going mad confused

I could have sworn Fatwomble mentioned something about that the other day....

Sorry, I need to be "done" by 10am. Parenting responsibilities yada, yada, yada. If you do the Winchester Womble, enjoy.

there is an awesome stretch of road which is pefectly suited to the elise... (at 40mph obviously!)...

head over to Lyndhurst, and just on the entry into lyndhurst on the A35 (at Emery Down) is turning opposite the pub and next to the cricket green. Head up there, over the cattle grid, down the other side of the hill and then go left immediately after the pub on the left.

This road takes you through the forest, under the A31 and then off towards Ringwood.

It's 2nd & 3rd gear all the way and hopefully at that time of the morning there shouldn't be too much in the way of traffic... just watch out for the new forest ponies and deer.

How's this. Pier to Pier - The Long way round ?

Although I am not endorsing the route and cannot condone speeding wink and this in no way (PhilyGumbo) means I'm going out this weekend !!!! Weather forecast looks a bit pants.. but for another day... maybe

I would be up for an early run but 10am start is too late. I need to be heading home by 11.00 ish. Looks like Grinders doesn't want to be dragged out this week. Where does that leave us?

How about a run up to meet Fatwomble at 10:00? Not sure where he's planning to meet other than near Winchester. He's also on holiday so will only post up details on Saturday.
