Fixed my T350's leaking boot!

Hurrah! After an easter weekend in Harrogate covered in snow , my boot became more like a paddling pool than th eboot and the hole where the cans of tyre goo are filled to the top.

I had a look at the seal around the boot hatch and found that the head liner had been glued so it sat outside the boot seal - so rain sits and soaks up through the head liner, under the sael and into the boot.

Boot lid off, seal off, trimmed away the excess and replaced seal with some silicone sealer under , after lots of watering cans and some rainy journeys no leaking boot and headliner is sorted, also cured my fogging up light clusters so doubly chuffed!

just need to sort out the badges now!

I am trying to sort out the badges on my T350 as well. Been trying for the last week or so, since I collected the car, but no luck yet.

A PH member is selling a replacement for the rear badge which is very similar to the original, but without the 'c' on it.

The problem that I also have is removing the rear badge.

I think thee is a threaqdon here about boot badges. I think you go in behind the tool box, box on inside rear and deal with a couple of nuts to release the badge.

got to my rear badge by removing the centre rear speaker , small socket and lots of swearing , removed th ebadges, and then tooth the letter part with T350 off - new one bought from racing greeen for 10 quid , then removed all the crusty chrome with polishing wheel on drill, and have sprayed teh metal part of the badge. Looks much better, not quite chrome but close. TVR power said that they are waiting for multipart to release the badges proper so waiting till then i think, as the TVR on the front is the same.

I don't have a central rear speaker in my T350, it has a speaker on each side, so it is proving a little difficult to get to the rear of the badge.

Is it possible to have the badge surround re-chromed? Has anybody done this?

Take the tool kit out and just reach up and behind it, hard to see what is there but you should be able to find two nuts! Keep it clean now...

Mine has a compartment with a small kit in it, wheel nuts and spare bulbs etc. It is directly behind where the badge is between the two speakers in the middle. Mine is an 03 dont know if they changed it for newer models? would show pic but won't have car til weekend.

My T350 is an 06 so they must have changed it, there is nothing there, just been out again to double check.

On the badges all i know is that they are working on them , no date available, just keep trying TVR power!

Mine is a 54 car , and i have a middle speaker , no tool kit , do you have any speakers in the rear of the boot , if so take those out and that should give you access - i think! It sould be a case of reaching up , total faff!

Was thinking of rechroming teh badge surround, as racing green sell the middle of the badge, but i spoke to Leven who recondition griffith badges but they didnt seem keen to touch a T350 badge

I also contacted Leven last week, as they made a really good job of my Chimaera badges, but got the same response as you.

Let me know if you get hold of the new surrounds.
