Fuel Priming issue - sorted I hope
Discussion
The car recently developed a problem whereby the fuel pump woould not prime and hence not start.
Done a search on fuel pump issues, but did not come up with much. Figured if it was fuel pump connections (which are exposed) then I would have intermittant cut out, but it was only on starting.
Next stop the imobiliser. Bypassed this in failed state and no change.
The Pump Relay seemed most likely culprit, but the relay was not located in the fuseboard at the location noted in the drawings. Anyway, through trial and error found the right relay, popped it open, adjusted one of the tips and gave it a good clean out, and hey presto!
No further problems to date
