I watched from behind the sofa for the first half. We did put out a b team, but they were taken apart, again, all over the pitch. In fact Bath should have been further up by HT.

2nd half, fearing the worst, we made a few changes and showed a lot of guts and desire to get back into the game, which they did.

With Bristol and Quins at home - which i think we'll win, i think the away game vs Newcastle will decided if we make it into the play off's.

Never write Leicester off, but im afraid to say i think Wasps are going to take it this year.

I was watching from my usual seat and was just wondering if it may have done anything to amend your opinion about Lee Mears, who was absolutely superb.

Mears was good the other night, but it doesn't change my opinion he's not up to International rugby. I mean the standard of the opposition has to be brought into question the other night. The Tigers pack was;

1 Marcos Ayerza
2 Benjamin Kayser
3 Julian White
4 Richard Blaze
5 Ben Kay (c)
6 Tom Croft
7 Ben Pienaar
8 Brett Deacon

Only 2 or 3 of those could start in a Tigers 1st 15. Bath were leading 23-0 at HT. Mears wasn't the same player 2nd 40 when Tigers put some pressure on.

He's a good club player, but will be seriously exposed at International level, something i think we will see on the Tour to New Zealand. Paice and Hartley are far better Hookers for me.

I do like Crockett though in the centre, think he's a pretty sharp player
